Description:

"Napoleon"
This exquisite fountain pen features a detail from Jacques-Louis David's painting of Napoleon. Jacques-Louis David was a meticulous painter, and the Russian artist who created his painting on this pen is also a lover of exquisite details. In artistic terms, this pen is the pinnacle of the Fedoskino style and without doubt a real collector's item. Only five pieces are available worldwide.

The French artist Jacques-Louis David (1748-1825) was a painter and politician. He painted in the neoclassic style. He met Napoleon in 1795, and in 1804 he was appointed Napoleon's court painter.

Since 2004 the Kynsey company has been producing pens that bespeak determination, passion and precision. Antonio Sanchez is indeed passionate about his search for the perfect piece of craftsmanship, a "job well done". Of course, this search for perfection entails a complicated and difficult process that involves many different people in different countries. Kynsey pens are masterpieces in the exquisite Russian Lacquer Art style. But Kynsey pens are not just writing instruments. They are precious collector's items that will be passed on from generation to generation and will continue to be admired throughout the 21st century not only as functional instruments but also as unique decorative objects that are eye-catching in any surroundings.
