A civil servant, theatre manager, and progressive thinker, he is best remembered as a pioneer of horror who turned Count Dracula from a literary character into a modern myth.

 Published in 1897, Stoker’s masterpiece gave the centuries-old vampire myth its definitive literary shape. To honour his legacy, Montblanc created the Writers Edition Homage to Bram Stoker. The collection highlights a core theme of the novel: the battle against evil aided by advancements in medical science.

 The pen’s design evokes the book's sinister atmosphere. Swirling red and black precious resins on the cap and barrel signal impending danger, while Stoker’s signature is embedded into the cap pattern. The ruthenium-coated clip—reminiscent of historic Montblanc pens—tapers to mirror a vampire bite, complete with two distinct bite marks on the ring. The pen’s silhouette pays homage to the Pravaz syringe, a Victorian medical milestone that operated via a screw mechanism. Victorian-style fittings pay tribute to the writing instruments Stoker himself would have used, and the handcrafted Au 750 solid gold nib is embossed with his family's coat of arms.
