The Montblanc emblem in mother-of-pearl is set within black onyx and framed by a solid Au 750 gold ring, while the cone is also crowned with black onyx, reinforcing the interplay between material richness and artistic reference. The solid Au 750 gold nib is embossed with Matisse’s drawing Large Face (Mask) (1952), honouring the purity of his line.
