M1000 Raden Stardust Limited Edition * Pelikan
Raden is a traditional Japanese decorative craft. Working with small pieces of precious shell material, the artist creates a unique, patterned fountain pen that becomes an impressive piece of art. Pelikan applies this beautiful Japanese decorative craft to the base of its Souverän M1000 piston-filling fountain pen.
The Pelikan M1000 Limited Edition Raden Stardust - Hoshikuzu - is made with particles from the Australian abalone shell. Finished in deep black urushi lacquer, the pen features shimmering vertical stripes created with the raden technique using finely crushed abalone shell, producing an iridescent play of violet-blue, green, and silver, like stardust in a night sky. Clear lacquer layers are polished to a glossy sheen and complemented by 24k gold-plated trim. Each pen is individually signed and numbered, and presented in an elegant paulownia wood box.
The Pelikan Raden M1000 Stardust fountain pen, created by Yamazaku Mushu and the Hoshu-Kai collective of Kaga Maki-e masters, is a piece of art with a finely chased 18-carat gold nib in size M. Each fountain pen comes in a traditional Japanese gift box made of Paulownia wood. This unique Limited Edition will be available in April 2026, in a worldwide limited edition of 401 pieces.
