Emperor Black Urushi * Namiki

 The Urushi Collection brings the large size No.50 pen nib fountain pen of the early 1930s, called “No.50 Jumbo” to the present. The unique ink stopping function is the same as that of the original. The deep and brilliant color results from applying many urushi lacquer coatings and a polishing method called “ Roiro Urushi Shiage. “  A process with repeatedly rubbing in raw lacquer after polishing with special charcoal.

Note: Urushi doesn’t like direct sunlight. Therefore keep your pens with a precious Urushi lacquer in a protected environment. A pen pouch, pen chest or closed drawer is sufficient.
