Aya Tokiwa, evergreen fountain pen * Namiki
The members of the famous Kokkokai group created a new Namiki range called AYA, composed of four fountain pens with different abstract patterns representing an enchanting world imbued with poetry.
The Namiki Aya collection has a newly designed fountain pen. The barrel and cap are made in ebonite enhanced by a colored urushi lacquer and a pattern in togidashi-makie with raden, gold, or silver powder. The 18kt duotone N°30 nib (FM, M, B) with ebonite feed has the Mount Fuji print. The Aya fountain pen is a tad smaller than the Namiki Emperor pen but larger than the Pilot Custom Urushi. The surprise lies in the cap. Uncapped, the Aya has about the same size as the Emperor. The section (forepart or finger grip) is slenderer compared to the emperors. It has no eyedropper system, but it can be filled with cartridges or a convertor.
Tokiwa is a never changing nature. The pattern of this fountain pen reveals evergreen trees on a mountain, even flourishing in winter, under a sparkling, pure, and starry night.
