Description:

A Siwa book cover is practical to protect an A5 notebook. It looks and feels like paper, but it is made with recycled polyester fibers from used plastic bottles and textile products. While having a distinctive paper texture, it is soft, flexible, highly water-resistant, and does not tear easily. The Siwa cover fits almost any A5 notebook. It can handle a Midori Codex, which is 2 cm thick.

How to use: Place the left cover of your notebook in the fixed compartment of the Siwa cover and slide the other side under the book band. The extra part next to the book band can be folded under the book band to close the end. Or use it to protect the sheets at the side or as a bookmark.

The name SIWA is based on the word WASI (paper) and means “crinkle.” The unique texture of Naoron was developed by the Japanese Paper manufacturer Onao. The industrial designer Naoto Fukusawa creates everyday articles in this remarkable texture.
