Blackwing 602 * Blackwing pencils
The Blackwing roots go back to the 1930’s when it was introduced by Eberhard Faber. In 1998 is was discontinued and fans began paying about €35 for a single Blackwing. Apparently the Palomino premium range of pencils provided a comparable performance to the Blackwing pencils. Palomino re-introduced the “Blackwing” in its original and in a modified form in a Californian Cedar wood casing with exquisite Japanese graphite.
The Blackwing 602 features a removable and replaceable eraser with an iconic ferrule design. It has a gunmetal finish with a gold imprint. The cedar casing sharpens evenly and easy. And the special formulated Japanese graphite writes smoothly.
