The Nakaya Cigar Portable 17mm fountain pen is made of ebonite and is lacquered with Wajima Urushi. Thanks to the designer's success in finding the perfect balance, this pen provides a comfortable writing experience for everyone. 

 The Red Ascending Dragon is made using the Tamesukashi technique, in which the dragon is applied in silver or gold on a red intermediate layer and covered with shuai (amber-coloured) urushi layers. The amber colour will lighten with time, making the dragon even more visible. Dragons are always beautiful!

 Important note: Urushi doesn't like direct sunlight, so keep your pens with their precious Urushi lacquer in a protected environment. A pen pouch, pen case or closed drawer is sufficient.
