Haru-Tsuge-Dori Shikiori Noyama No Uta * Sailor
Sailor Shikiori Noyama-No-Uta (Songs of the Mountains)
Inspired by the ancient Japanese calendar, Sailor extended the shikiori inks with four poetic colours based on bird species that thrive during 72 specific microseasons.
- Haru-tsuge-dori: A luminous, muted spring yellow inspired by the delicate song of the Japanese bush warbler.
- Sekirei: A warm, highly blendable shade of gray reminiscent of the wagtail bird
- Waka-taka: A rich, reddish-brown reflecting the warm feathers of a young hawk.
- Kiji: A vivid blue-green with a subtle red sheen, echoing the iridescent plumage of the Japanese pheasant.
Together, the collection captures the quiet beauty and seasonal poetry of the Japanese landscape.
