WP. Shu Writer Portable * Nakaya

 The screw-type cap, the barrel and the middle section of the Shu Portable Writer fountain pen are made of ebonite and lacquered with Wajima Urushi. This model is designed to be used without the cap when writing. As ebonite is a very lightweight material, it is possible to make the barrel thicker and longer. As a result, it is easier to set the point of equilibrium to provide a comfortable writing experience for everyone. The Wajima Urushi used is the colour Shu (vermilion red). Wajima Urushi gives a very high-quality finish. 

Important note: Urushi doesn't like direct sunlight, so keep your pens with their precious Urushi lacquer in a protected environment. A pen pouch, pen case or closed drawer is sufficient.
