Iroful is an acid-free new fountain pen-friendly paper. After Sakae had to stop the production of Tomoe River, they started looking for a formula to replace TR because many notebook manufacturers saw their product vanishing in smoke. Replacing Tomoe River seems almost impossible, but we are always open to discovering new papers!

Iroful is a 75gsm smooth paper with a particular 'grip' that feels kind of 'chalky.' It is smooth, but you stay in control. Iroful has a soft white color, and the ink does not bleed or feathers. Lines are sharper, and shading and sheen is no problem. Iroful is available in 50 loose sheets A4 or 100 sheets A5 to choose as blank or with dots!
