The Nakaya kuro-tamenuri Lotus fountain pen is made of ebonite and is lacquered with a Wajima urushi using the Tamenuri technique. On the finger grip, you'll find a small lotus in Taka Maki-e with Gold Nashiji. It is a little extra that will make you happy every time you open the cap!

Kuro tamenuri looks like a black cherry. You'll notice the deep red tones when you expose the pen in full light.
