Classic ink Lavender Black * Platinum

Iron Gall inks are spectacular! In a bottle, they appear bright and colorful, but once on paper, they transform into a dark tone.

Platinum Classic Inks are modern Iron Gall inks. They are made for fountain pens and are safe for writing. And like everything in Japan, this ink is meticulously crafted. The ink itself is a true solution: it contains no solid particles, but once it sets on the paper, it becomes a solid and indelible substance. 

Iron Gall can cause corrosion on steel nibs. High-quality steel nibs experience minimal issues. With gold nibs, there is no issue.

Advice:
Choose a pen with a tight-fitting cap and a good flow. WRITE with your pen when using Iron Gall ink. Do not leave your pen uncapped. Clean it when you deem it necessary. After writing, after a week, two weeks, a month? Experience makes you an expert.
Cleaning Iron Gall ink can be done with tap or distilled water. Flush thoroughly  until all ink is removed. Use a rubber bulb or converter to flush water through the feed. If you want to switch to another type of ink, clean the pen thoroughly! Iron Gall does not mix well with other inks.
