Description:

Since 1992, Montblanc has honored an influential patron of art from antiquity to the 20th century with a limited edition writing instrument. Every Patron of Art Limited Edition underscores Montblanc’s belief that arts and culture are essential to any thriving society and can only flourish with the support of dedicated patrons. For its 30th and final edition, Montblanc celebrates the lives and legacy of Victoria and Albert with two separate fountain pens.

The Montblanc Patron of Art Homage to Victoria & Albert Limited Edition 4810 marks the early years of the royal couple with a barrel in pearl-white lacquer, a symbol of purity and youth, and a cone embellished with a traditional Victorian pattern as well as “V&A”, mirroring the way the couple like to unite their initials.

The Montblanc Patron of Art Homage to Albert features a burgundy red-lacquered cap adorned with a scepter with red synthetic stone. The Burgundy color pays homage to the British Field Marshall uniform worn by Prince Albert at his wedding to Victoria. The cap top is inspired by the Crystal Palace in Hyde Park and wears the Montblanc emblem in precious white resin. The cap ring is engraved with the wording 'Treu und Fest.' The 18kt gold nib is decorated with the coat of Saxony, which is found at the center of Albert's royals arms.
