Mircea Badea is the driving force behind Kron Leather Goods. A Romanian craftsman who, with passion and love, transforms every piece of leather into a beautiful product. All Kron leather goods are handmade from A to Z and finished with great attention to detail.

 We asked Mircea to design leather book covers for Midori, and Tomoe River but they also fit other notebooks. Initially, they can be a bit tight around the book, but over time, the leather becomes more supple and the cover a “perfect fit.” They are sturdy but elegant, in bold color combinations and with intelligent layouts.

Kron leather goods affect all your senses: you see and feel and smell the honesty of the product. The Italian leather used is of superior quality and selected by Mircea himself. No manipulated hides but authentic leather with, sometimes, small imperfections specific to the animal’s skin. The leather is naturally and ecologically tanned with vegetal extracts and aniline dyes. All types of leather become supple with time and get a beautiful patina.
