The kind of big pens we have in mind are mainly Danitrio pens: Genkai, Mikado or Junikaku, or alternatively the ManuPropria Kiseru or the Phoenix Lacquer Art Emperors. These are pens that might be as much as 18 cm to 20 cm long, and they’re also relatively chunky.

SPFG pen kimonos are made of a durable and sturdy fabric. As you can see, we're aficionados of exquisite woven motifs. The inside of these pen cases is coated with wild silk or another suitable fabric. And the leather strip closure is truly extraordinary. If you find the strip is too long, you can simply cut it to the desired length. 

N.B. The inside finishing is left to our discretion (don't worry - we have excellent taste).

The SFPG King pen kimono has a closed top with a 9 cm slot on the side. This gives you enough space to slide your pen into the case. Simply twist the strip around the kimono and your pen will be safe and secure. The King pen kimono is available in 3 sizes: 20 cm, 18 cm or 16 cm (length) by 4.5 cm (width), which means it can also accommodate a smaller, wide pen, such as the Danitrio Hyotan.
