Description:

The name SIWA is a reversing of the word WASI (paper) and means “crinkle”. The special texture of Naoron, developed by the Japanese Paper manufacturer Onao is a hard to tear crinkled paper. The industrial designer Naoto Fukusawa created everyday articles in this remarkable texture. They are soft, flexible and highly water-resistant.

RPF Naoron (Recycled PET Fiber Naoron) is a paper created using the washi-suki paper manufacturing method from recycled polyester fibers from used plastic bottles and textile products. While having the distinctive texture of paper, it does not tear easily and is highly water-resistant.
